Don’t Be Greedy was created from a very personal experience and has grown into a community of neighbors
helping neighbors. We understand how overwhelming it can be when needed medical care means leaving Lake
Havasu City, and the added expenses of travel can quickly become another burden. With the support of our
incredible community, we help ease some of that financial stress so local residents and their families can focus
on what matters most—their health and the road ahead.

Shane’s Story
Born from one family’s journey. Built to help another.
When Shane “Greedy” Stitt was diagnosed with Stage IV colon cancer, Shane and Heidi experienced
firsthand what it meant to leave Lake Havasu City for needed medical care—and how quickly the added
costs of travel, lodging and meals can become another burden during an already difficult time. Don’t Be
Greedy grew from that experience and from Shane’s desire to help others, so local residents facing their
own medical journeys can have help carrying some of those added expenses.
